  • We manufacture our sticks using a mid-hardness polyurethane, chosen for its balance of flexibility, resilience, and puck feel. This material absorbs impacts well, but the sticks are not indestructible, they will also wear more quickly on abrasive surfaces such as concrete or rough pool bottoms.

Our sticks are also made with a UV-protective additive to slow colour fading. However, prolonged exposure to sunlight can still shorten their lifespan, so we recommend keeping them out of direct sun whenever possible.

  • We manufacture our gloves using premium silicone formulated to provide an optimal balance of comfort, flexibility, and protection. While they’re highly effective at absorbing impact, the forces in underwater hockey can be extreme for such a small impact area, so injuries are still possible. Silicone also offers limited resistance to sharp objects such as broken tiles or faulty goal trays.

To maximise durability, keep gloves away from sunlight, avoid overstretching them when putting them on or taking them off, allow proper drying between sessions, and promptly repair any visible wear using acetic-cure silicone.

  • Since we manufacture all products in-house, our production capacity is intentionally small to maintain quality. Timing can vary depending on demand, the size of your order, and whether the item is currently in stock. If a product is listed as out of stock, please contact us, we’ll provide the most accurate estimate for when it will be ready.

  • Orders are sent from Perth, Western Australia through Australia Post. Domestic parcels generally arrive within a week. International shipping normally takes 2–3 weeks, but please note that customs clearance times vary by country and may add extra days to your delivery.

  • Import taxes and customs fees vary from country to country, and they’re determined solely by your local customs authority. Since these costs are outside our control, the receiver is responsible for paying any charges that apply. We encourage international buyers to research their country’s customs policies before placing an order.

  • We stand behind the quality of all 6aA gear. Our sticks and gloves come with a 6-month warranty covering genuine manufacturing issues — stick breakages, and glove defects such as unusual adherence or material faults. Because each product is handmade, small differences in shape, texture, or colour are normal and not considered defects. These variations do not affect performance.

Normal wear and tear is also not covered. Sticks and gloves naturally wear down with use, especially in pools with rough surfaces, or if they are not cared for properly. Cuts, extreme abrasion, and damage from sharp tiles or rough pool bottoms are outside warranty.

If you believe your item has a manufacturing issue, please contact us. We may ask for proof of purchase, photos or videos, extra details about how the product was used. Every claim is assessed individually and fairly — your satisfaction is important to us.

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

  • If you receive a faulty product, we will either replace it or provide a refund. We review all claims on a case-by-case basis to ensure a fair and reasonable resolution for both you and us. Our goal is always to work with you and achieve the best outcome.
